PBP International Award Winners and Notable
IA Betas serving PBP
Initiated 1916: Agnes Wright Stone founded and began  The Order of the Golden Arrow that PBP International adopted for its chapters. Agnes is the mother of Phyllis Stone Core, also an IA Beta.
1984: Becky Kendall Koenig; House Manager Award
1987: Eileen Valharticky Larance wrote "Wine Carnation" and in 1991, Iowa Beta took it to Convention in St. Louis and was awarded 2nd place in Pi Beta Phi's song contest, Collegiate Melody. "Wine Carnation is still sung each year at recruitment.
1990: Janine Hjort Reames; Province President
1994: Angela Van Buren Pankoff; Silver Slipper Award for Best Treasurer and served as Traveling Graduate Counselor (IA Beta' s first TGC)
1998: Rebecca Grinager Trefz; Traveling Graduate Counselor
