Philanthropy and Service

Iowa Beta's participated in several philanthropic and service projects during the past year including fundraising for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund, sponsoring a Mardi Gras party to raise money for Katrina victims, chaperoning a sock hop at a local elementary school, participating in a read-a-thon (also at the elementary school) and making Easter cards and baskets for residents of the local retirement community.
